daddy and son day!
Saturday there was an event at The Orleans called "touch-a-truck" and J really wanted to take Ty. I kinda thought he would be to little, but apparently i was wrong! I decided to stay home because i wasnt feeling the best (Don't worry about me, although it was rough having the house all to myself with no son or husband, i managed to cope.. ;).

I wish...
I wish.......
- that I had a house.
- that I had maid for the afformentioned house.
- that my house was clean and organized.
- that Ty's room didn't look like a storage space.
- that everywhere you step in this house, that you didn't step on something.
- that Ty would sleep in his own bed everynight at a normal hour.
- that Ty and I were on a normal schedule and not the crack one.
- that Ty could go to sleep on his own and not have to lay on us.
- that when Ty was sick he didnt have to roll and toss and turn his fever body all over me, making me sweat!
- that my husband and I could practice making babies without Ty interupting us every. single. time. we. try! GRRRRRR!!!
- that i could sleep a full night in the bed with my husband.
- that my son would eat more than just pbnj, chicken, noodles, chips, french fries and yogurt.
- that Ty was not currently climbing all over me, like he does everytime i get on the computer
- that sometimes Ty wasnt so clingy and would just leave me be for 10min!
- that I could go to the bathroom bymyself again
- that my sister had a manny.
- that my nephews would behave how they know how to.
- that I had an endless supply of money and not have to go back to work.
- that i was better at keeping in touch with old friends.
- that i could resist buying things "because they are a good deal".
- that there was a magic pill for pms and weight loss, lol.
- that i could get the hundreds of 15-30sec videos off my phone and onto the computer.
- that i knew more about politics and whats really going on in our economy and how it is going to affect my family.
- that i was more motivated to go back to school.
- that i knew what i want to be when i grow up.......

Bionic baby
Well I don't know how many of you know about Ty's leg braces. Ty was pretty much born bow-legged. My aunt even commented when he was only four weeks old "Is that baby bow-legged?"
SO, as he got a older and started walking it was really noticeable. I kept asking his doctor about his legs and he said Ty would straighten out. Fast foward to Ty's 2nd bday and he got fitted for leg braces.
Needless to say he was not happy about having his legs in those things....
It took him a couple of days to get used to them. And once he learned he could still run and jump with them on , he was back to his normal bad self . Ty even knows how to take them off and out them on....grrrr...I thought keeping pants on him would deter him...not so much..Joel was not happy at all about the leg braces. I think he thought TY might be looked at as handicapped or something and that people might feel sorry for Ty when they see him. But, ya know, he is only two and should only have them for a year and most likely he won't remember any of this. Now, if he were a little older and in school, I could understand the anxiety about them.
I wish i had better before pics of his legs, but he has straightened quite a bit now, even Joel has noticed the difference. He even calls them "bionics" because it sounds more empowering than leg braces or forrest gumps, lol.
