Being the parent of a two yr old is quite the adventure, i must say. Now that Ty is older, he talks alot more and i can actually understand most of it! lol. Some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth sometimes truly cracks me up and leaves me wondering where he picked that up.
tidbits from ty :
Ty brings me an old envelope with some flash cards in it and says "special delivery, here's you letta mommy."
"thanks Ty"
"you welcome mommy."
Ty will be doing something and put something in its place and say "perfect!" how does he know it's perfect? sigh...
Ty comes in the room with no pants or diaper and says, like he's shocked "oh no! my diaper is gone!"
After several tries at a healthier homemade chicken nugget, i finally found a recipe that could rival Mcd's. After putting a plate of these homemade nuggets on the table, my darling child says "how about peanut butter jelly, mommy? come on mommy, let's go to the kitchen!"
just take deep breaths...whooooossssaaaaaaa.....
Joel was outside with Ty playing and since we live next to the AFB, we see a lot of planes... "look daddy a comet" it's really a jet, but how does my kid know what a comet is?
We were leaving cousin's house and it was dark outside. Ty takes his hand outa mine to make prayer hands and say "starwight star bright, first star i see tonight....." and then seeing the moon "moon bright, moon bright, first moon i see tonight..."
So, Ty comes over to me and climbs in my lap and just snuggles for a minute. I ask him "whatsa matta for u?" he replies "no, not matta for me, i feel happy"
"you feel happy, ty?"
"yeah mommy, i feel happy"
"me too, ty"
Ty decided to not listen to me at the docs office and got at time out, "mommy happy or mad? mommy mad...." I had to try real hard not laugh at that one...
"come on mommy lets go to the kitchen, its time fooooor juice!"
I was feigning sleep because i didnt want to read a book for the 85th time "wake up mommy, wake up, time for reading!"
"can i play too?" when im sewing
We were outside playing and Joel came outside when he got home from work Ty says, "look daddy friends"
For whatever reason, Ty feels the need to introduce to me people now "thats my friend mommy, say hi mommy, hi mommy!"
walking to get the mail "let's take this path or this path" think he may be watching too much dora
If there is something he doesnt really want he says, no thank you..and sags his shoulders and sulks away
My child also talks to his toys and to himself :
"dont worry cup ill save u! reeeeaaaach! Gotcha!"
"help tylen help! Don't worry, i'll help you tylen!"
"open it mommy open it, hurry!"
"i did it! great job, tylen"
"great job mommy, that's ex-a-went job"
"i cant fix it, i cant do it" and sags his shoulders and look very sad...
Joel was playin video game and missed, "good job daddy, or maybe not" lol, thanks for your support...
"wanna watch nooooggin, how bout playhouse disney?" I like how my son now requests what he wants to watch on tv....
Pretty much everyday he says something new that cracks me up...oh that kid
